Schedule Email: Back and better than ever!

You may have noticed that we retracted our Schedule Email feature a couple of months ago. Well, it’s now back and better than ever!

What changed? I’m glad you asked!

Previously, our Schedule Email feature would have been more accurately referred to as a “Delay Send” feature, meaning that it would only send to the registrants who were selected to receive it at the time the email was scheduled.

We heard from many of our customers that this was not the expected behavior (our bad!) so we retracted the feature in order to give it more attention and avoid tripping anyone else up!

The feature has now been properly polished up and is working as you would expect.

Here, I’ll show you!

First, select the recipients for the email. You have many options to choose from, including all pre-registered, virtual, in-person, and canceled guests!

Next, compose your super awesome email.

Then, click “Schedule”.

Choose the date and time you’d like your email sent… and we’ll take it from there!

If you’ve selected one of the segmented recipients options from the drop-down (like Pre-registered Guests), your email will be sent to all guests in that segment at the time the email is sent.

Want to preview or change your email? No problem!

Your email will appear in the “Scheduled Emails” section of the Send Email tool until it’s sent.

Clicking the [v] button next to the email title will give you several options, should you wish to make changes to your email down the road.

Scheduling emails makes event planning so much easier and we’re excited to bring this much-improved feature back.

Enjoy!
